A media hub for reaction mashups and crowd-reacted clips. Watch free teasers of premium mashups, vote on community polls, and unlock premium full-length cuts with a VIP membership. Built as a full-stack Next.js application with secure video streaming and real-time payments.
The Problem
Streaming reaction mashups requires reliable video hosting, gated access to premium content, and community input on what to cut next. Users needed a way to sample premium content before subscribing to a subscription, while admins needed a streamlined way to upload and manage video content.
The Solution
Built a full-stack media hub with Next.js and PostgreSQL. Implemented direct-to-Bunny video uploads using TUS resumable uploads, signed HLS playback URLs via the video player, and Stripe-style test checkout via Flutterwave for premium memberships. Added an admin dashboard to manage videos, polls, and users, plus community polls where members vote on what mashup gets cut next.
